The AppenninOpenAir Project
The AppenninOpenAir project was conceived and designed in 2023, during the summer of 2023. As often happens, it started from a Public Call issued by the Ministry of Tourism, Directorate General for the Enhancement and Promotion of Tourism, which announced the Fund aimed at enhancing municipalities with a population of less than 5,000 inhabitants with a tourist vocation.

AppenninOpenAir is co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Tourism, under the Fund for the enhancement of municipalities with a population of less than 5,000 inhabitants with a tourist vocation, as provided for in Article 1, paragraph 607 of Law No. 197 of December 29, 2022. Beneficiaries are the Municipalities of Monghidoro (lead partner) and San Benedetto Val di Sambro in the Emilia-Romagna region, Italy.
